![]() As if it was always part of the desert, the Posada maintains a natural landscape as you walk the path to the main door. Surrounded by towering saguaro cactuses, cholla gardens, and more desert flora, it blends in perfectly. Photos don’t quite capture the feeling you get when you arrive at the inn. Here’s a closer look at our stay at the Posada by The Joshua Tree House. By our last day, Travis and I looked at each other and said, “when are we coming back?” A chance to disconnect, be out in the desert and explore a new city. It was something we had been looking forward to for months. Our first trip of the year was a three-night stay at Posada. So when they renovated and opened up their first inn, I was incredibly excited to see what they had created. Their ability to create a space that invites you to savor and go slow is unlike anything I’ve experienced before.
